saghi mey winery estate
Set within a 4.5-acre vineyard in Napa County wine country, this private residence is conceived as both a secluded retreat and a place for gathering, entertaining, and sharing the wine produced on the property.
The design explores the balance between sanctuary and hospitality, creating a home that feels deeply private in everyday life while offering the flexibility to open outward for tastings and larger gatherings. A series of low, pavilion-like volumes extend into the landscape, framing views across the vineyard and surrounding hills while creating a sequence of intimate indoor and outdoor spaces.
Warm wood, natural stone, generous glazing, and deep overhangs establish a quiet material palette rooted in the character of Northern California. The result is a residence where domestic life and winery hospitality coexist naturally, offering a contemporary expression of living within the landscape and culture of California wine country.
